Strategy & Counsel is the judgment core of the practice — strategy and value creation, corporate finance, transactions, risk, market entry, and sustainability. It's also the natural bridge into our Capital arm.

What this group does.

Some decisions are easy to change and some are not. Strategy & Counsel is built for the second kind — the choices about where to play, how to fund, whether to buy or sell, what risk to carry, and how to cross a border. These are the moments where judgment, not headcount, decides the outcome.

The group spans six service lines. Strategy and value creation set direction and tie it to EBIT. Corporate finance and CFO services bring a senior finance seat. M&A and transactions handle the deals. Risk, resilience, and compliance keep you sound — including the new frontier of AI governance and the EU AI Act. Market entry lands you across the corridor, and sustainability builds what lasts rather than writing reports about it.

This is also the most natural bridge between Consulting and Capital. Corporate finance, M&A, and the structuring side of market entry flow straight into Capital Services when a decision becomes a deal — so the same team that advised the strategy can help execute the transaction.
